Seriously some of the best ice cream that I have had in my life!! The young lady working there recommended the peanut butter Oreo and I was hooked! The ice cream was so smooth and creamy. I have also had it as a milkshake which is heaven in a cup. If you're ever in Granger area you have to stop by The Chief

The very best ice cream in the area. We enjoy the staff who are always nice and polite. They always appreciate anything you put in the tip jar. They also sell gift cards which make a nice easy gift for all ages.

Tasty high-end ice creamery. One of the best things about it is that they have a drive through. Competitors like Ritter's or Paddyshack don't have this option so if you're craving ice cream and want something better than Dairy Queen and don't feel like getting out of the car (or several kids), this is an option! It's not very big inside, although it's decorated cute but minimally. It's higher on the price side, but it is supposed to be more high-end ice cream. I'm not sure if it's that much better than somewhere else because I think almost ice cream is delicious! Haha But either way, I haven't heard anyone be anything but extremely satisfied with their selection here.

This is the go-to spot for ice cream in Northern Indiana. The peanut butter Oreo is fantastic and you will never be disappointed with a hot fudge brownie sundae! Fairly priced and portions are large.

This place was wonderful! The Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and patient to newcomers. The atmosphere was clean and friendly. I had been trying to find a place that made a decent banana split and this place delivered and M O R E!!!! It was so big I couldn't finish it bit it was well made, well portioned toppings and the ice cream was top notch. The hot dogs were tasty and all beef. Definitely will be returning!

Didn't know they had food other than ice cream. Bought the firecracker (hot dog) topped with chili, cheese, fritos, jalapeños, and sweet BBQ sauce. Also, had the waking taco. It was also very tasty. Didn't expect the BBQ sauce to be sweet but it was still very tasty. Ice cream is some of the best. Creamy, flavorful, and reasonably priced. Bought a pint ($5) and a one scoop cone (~$3.75).

Can beat this small town Ice-cream shop!! Seriously friendly , warm atmosphere which may be ironic but the flavors mix so well. The staff were so knowledgeable, quick to help. Get a scoop or two. Enjoy on a date, with family, or just a well earned treat.

Vintage with a modern flair. Helpful friendly staff. Plenty of indoor seating as well as a small outdoor patio area in front. Essentially two related businesses under one roof — the ice cream shoppe & sandwiches & coffee biz. We came for the premium ice cream. Plenty of choices. Shakes, sundaes & scoops — tons of options. Comfortable seating area for lager families & groups. Very clean. Also have a drive up window! Located on a busy thoroughfare in Granger Indiana halfway between the state line & Mishawaka.
